FRC provided the site, civil, mechanical, and
electrical design of a new fuel farm, including
three 30,000-gallon jet fuel tanks and two
550-gallon motor fuel tanks. FRC obtained
required environmental permits. FRC performed a
geotechnical investigation and designed the
foundations and access road. FRC laid out the
tank farm, including tank and truck containment,
designed the piping manifolds and pumping skid,
and specified tank appurtenances, tank monitoring
probes and consoles, and fuel management
cardreaders and software. Finally, FRC was on
hand to provide guidance during system shakedown.
