FRC sampled soil and groundwater at the
construction site of a new radio station to
evaluate existing conditions. FRC identified an
area of very low contamination. This
contamination did not present any health hazard
but could impact disposal costs. Based on this
information, FRC recommended that additional
testing be done to comply with the new state clean
fill regulations. This additional testing showed
that the entire mass of excavated soil could be
disposed of as clean fill.
